Following the rules at a vacation rental is important to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone. The rules are in place to protect the property, the guests, and the surrounding community. By following the rules, you are showing respect for the property and the effort that goes into maintaining it. It also helps to ensure that future guests will have a positive experience. Additionally, violating the rules may result in penalties or additional fees, which can be avoided by simply adhering to the guidelines.

Please refrain from hosting any parties or events at the house during your stay. We do allow small family gatherings as long as the overnight guests are limited to registered guests.

The minimum age for rental is 21. The renter is responsible for the actions of all guests on the property. We kindly ask that the number of overnight occupants is limited to registered guests only. If this needs to change at any time during your stay, please advise us in advance. Thank you for your understanding.

Please refrain from smoking of any kind on the property to help us maintain an odor-free environment.
Noise Level

Since the property is located in a rural area without any neighbors for a mile, you won't have to worry about making too much noise. However, please note that you may hear some noises during your stay, such as the sound of nearby trains passing through. There is also wildlife in the woods around the property, so you might hear turkeys during the day or coyotes in the distance at night.

We have a doorbell camera that records video/audio, and a carport camera with motion light that records video only. Additionally, we have two other cameras—one overlooking the deck and backyard and one on the side yard—neither record audio. All devices are located on the exterior of the property.
Breakages
Breakages
We recognize that accidents can occur. If you accidentally damage any item, please notify us immediately. For minor damages, we generally do not charge any fee. However, for significant damages (e.g. a broken TV screen), we will discuss the cost with you before your departure to avoid any complications later.
Fees will also be charged for any items removed from the property upon your departure, including linens, towels, kitchenware, and other provided items.
